About LinkSentinel

Passive Revenue Protection

The problem

Affiliate links quietly stop earning all the time -- a product goes out of stock, a redirect chain silently drops a tracking ID, a link just breaks -- and there's no natural way for a creator to notice. A link posted in a video description from a year ago isn't something anyone re-checks by hand across a back-catalog of hundreds or thousands of videos. LinkSentinel exists to surface exactly that: the specific links costing a creator money right now, that they'd have no way of finding themselves.

What makes it different

It isn't a generic broken-link checker. Two things guide every decision in how it works:

  • It distinguishes confirmed revenue loss from inconclusive results, as a first-class product decision. Live testing against real channels found that naively trusting every non-200 HTTP response produces false "your link is dead" claims -- anti-bot blocks, rate limits, and transient failures all look like errors without being real dead links. Something is only ever called confirmed when there's real evidence behind it (a page that genuinely says "Currently unavailable," a tracking parameter that's genuinely gone after redirects resolve) -- everything else is honestly labeled as needing manual review, never dressed up as certain.
  • It catches silent failures a creator wouldn't notice themselves, not just obvious 404s. Testing across real creator channels found zero confirmed plain dead links, but did find genuine stripped affiliate tags and out-of-stock products -- exactly the failure modes with no natural discovery path.

Where things stand

Everything on this page reflects what's actually been built and tested against real creator channels, not invented customer stories or case studies. Questions or feedback are always welcome -- see Support.
