Terms of Service
Last updated 20 August 2026
1. Who you're contracting with
LinkSentinel is a trading name of JeffNet LTD (Company No. 16842612), a company registered in England and Wales. By creating an account or using LinkSentinel, you're agreeing to these terms with JeffNet LTD.
2. The service
LinkSentinel monitors YouTube video descriptions, link-in-bio pages, and podcast show notes you connect for links that have silently stopped earning -- dead redirects, out-of-stock products, and stripped affiliate tracking tags. It's a monitoring aid, not a guarantee: LinkSentinel makes a best effort to catch these issues on a recurring schedule, but cannot promise to catch every issue or catch it immediately.
3. Your account and eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use LinkSentinel. You're responsible for keeping your account access secure and for all activity under your account.
4. Channel ownership
You may only add a channel to LinkSentinel that you own or have explicit authorization to manage. Non-admin accounts must complete our ownership verification (placing a generated code in the channel's About description) before a channel is tracked. Falsely claiming ownership of a channel is a breach of these terms and may result in suspension.
5. Estimates aren't guarantees
Any "revenue at risk" or similar figure shown in the product is an illustrative estimate based on a simple assumption per confirmed issue -- it is not an audited or guaranteed financial figure, and shouldn't be relied on as one.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Attempt to circumvent channel ownership verification.
- Use the service to monitor a channel you don't own or have authorization for.
- Resell or provide third-party access to the service without our agreement.
- Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or overload the service.
7. Intellectual property
The LinkSentinel site, software, and branding are owned by JeffNet LTD. Nothing in these terms grants you any rights to our code, design, or trademarks beyond using the service as intended.
The reverse also applies: adding a channel to LinkSentinel and using the service to monitor it gives LinkSentinel no ownership, license, or other rights over your (or any creator's) YouTube content. We read publicly available link and description data solely to perform the monitoring you've requested.
8. Third-party links and content
LinkSentinel reports on links and pages operated by third parties we don't control. We're not responsible for the content, availability, or conduct of those third-party sites.
9. Billing
LinkSentinel is currently free to use. If paid plans are introduced, pricing and billing terms will be shown at checkout and processed via Stripe; continued use of a paid plan after that point constitutes acceptance of those terms.
10. Termination
You can stop using LinkSentinel and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, including false ownership claims or abusive use. On termination, your data is deleted as described in our Privacy Policy.
11. Disclaimers and liability
LinkSentinel is provided on a best-effort, "as is" basis, without guarantee of uninterrupted availability or that every issue will be detected. To the extent permitted by law, JeffNet LTD is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost revenue, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the service, and our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you've paid us in that period (or £0 while the service is free).
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will update the date at the top of this page, and where appropriate, we'll ask you to accept the updated terms again.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
